Floor Screeding
Bonded screeds
Bonded screeds are used if the screed thickness is not enough to act as an independent slab. It requires surface preparation and an bonding agent. Thicknesses from 10mm and higher, depend on the specified standard and screed
Unbonded screeds
Unbonded screeds are installed on top of a separation layer like waterproof layer, plastic sheet or damp-proof-membrane. They are independent from the slab and minimize the failures in floor finishes. Thicknesses from 10mm and higher, depend on the specified standard .
Floating screeds
Floating screeds are installed on top of a thermal Insulation or an acoustic insulation. This system is additional increasing the value of the floor by reducing the noise transmission and/or achieving a U-value. Thicknesses from 40mm and higher, depend on the specified standard and screed material manufacture.
